Training Services Waiver and No Guarantee Acknowledgement

By booking or participating in training or behaviour services provided by Willowhound Dog Training, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. I understand that dog training and behaviour work may involve exposure to environmental triggers, handling, controlled challenges, management strategies, and changes to routine.

2. I acknowledge that dog training and behaviour modification do not guarantee specific outcomes. Progress depends on many factors including the dog’s history, health, environment, consistency, and my own participation and follow through.

3. I understand that behavioural change is not always linear and that periods of regression, stress responses, or variability in behaviour may occur during or after training.

4. I acknowledge that I remain responsible for my dog’s behaviour at all times outside of training sessions and that Willowhound Dog Training is not responsible for incidents occurring outside of scheduled sessions.

5. I assume all risks associated with participation in training services, including injury, stress responses, behavioural reactions, or unintended outcomes, except where caused by proven negligence.

6. I release and hold harmless Willowhound Dog Training from liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from training activities, except where caused by proven negligence.

7. I confirm that I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, behavioural history, previous incidents, medications, and known triggers prior to commencing training services.

8. I understand that training advice and strategies are provided for educational purposes and require appropriate implementation by me to be effective.
